Technical Specialist Functional Description

We are seeking a Functional Description Specialist to support the consistency and accuracy of equipment documentation in complex engineering projects. In this role, you will apply standardized internal procedures to define and validate functional naming conventions, ensuring that all outputs align with project-specific requirements and applicable technical standards. You will work closely with system owners and other stakeholders to guarantee that deliverables are correct, complete, and clearly documented.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply internal procedures to determine appropriate naming conventions for equipment and systems based on project requirements.

• Coordinate and align deliverables with system owners and relevant technical stakeholders.

• Plan, prioritise, and organise your own work, proactively identifying and reporting any issues or discrepancies.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have:

• A background in engineering, preferably mechanical or systems-focused.

• Solid understanding of complex technical systems and documentation standards.

• Familiarity with relevant German technical terminology.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).

• A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage shifting priorities.

• Willingness to travel occasionally (e.g., short trips 1–2 times per month).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.

• Exclusive EU citizenship and possession of an EU passport (candidates with visas, dual nationality, or non-EU status cannot be considered due to project requirements).
