Job description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Lead Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to oversee ILS projects for our naval vessels. Your primary focus will be on enhancing ship availability and operational readiness while minimizing lifecycle costs.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate various ILS activities, including maintenance planning, technical documentation (S1000D), supply support (S2000M), and training. Collaborating closely with multiple disciplines within the organization, you will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality ILS products and services, contributing to both customer satisfaction and the strategic development of our ILS technology roadmap.
Job requirements
As a Team Lead Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), your main tasks will include:
Conducting ILS analyses, such as Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and other ILS-related assessments.
Studying and reporting on the reliability and maintainability of naval equipment.
Collaborating with the technical design and procurement departments while reporting to the Project Manager ILS.
Managing various ILS products, including procurement support, maintenance/LSA (RAM and LCC calculations), supply support, technical documentation, training, and technology transfer.
Ensuring compliance with company and end-user requirements.
Delivering ILS products and services within schedule, budget, and according to relevant ILS standards.
Assisting in the drafting and reviewing of ILS proposals while contributing to the continuous improvement of ILS products, processes, and methodologies.
Preparing ILS training materials for technical equipment and naval systems.
Developing budgetary offers and cost estimations for projects.
Managing configuration and data to ensure consistency and traceability.
Studying and applying technical regulations and engineering drawings relevant to each project.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Extensive knowledge and experience in ILS, as well as expertise in the development and execution of ILS packages within a technical and/or Ministry of Defence (MoD) environment, or equivalent maintenance experience in an engineering setting.
Experience working in multifunctional and multicultural teams.
Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and verbal); additional language skills in German or Spanish are an advantage.
A naval background or a strong affinity with naval environments and culture is preferred.
Familiarity with asset management.
