Team Lead xR

As a Team Lead Extended Reality (xR), you will manage and develop a specialized xR team dedicated to supporting research, design, engineering, and production processes within innovative projects. You will drive the advancement and adoption of xR applications, ensuring seamless integration into projects while engaging both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will oversee quality control, timely delivery, and project reporting while also providing training solutions to customers, ensuring they are fully prepared for their operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop an international xR team working on specialized projects.

• Oversee project activities, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful and timely execution.

• Provide progress reports and relevant updates to project management.

• Ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality standards for xR activities.

• Serve as a Product Owner within an agile team structure, guiding project goals and execution.

• Foster collaboration across departments, suppliers, customers, and subprojects to integrate xR solutions effectively.

• Advocate for the adoption and expansion of xR applications within the organization and among external stakeholders.

• Encourage continuous learning and innovation within the xR domain.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or management, with at least five years of experience leading an xR team.

• Strong expertise in xR development, solutions, and applications, ideally within military or high-tech environments.

• Demonstrated leadership in agile team management, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural settings.

• Fluency in English and Dutch (German is a plus).

• Core competencies: customer focus, results-oriented mindset, leadership, adaptability, and strong communication and organizational skills.

• Strong professional references, as security screening is a mandatory part of the hiring process.

• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required. Due to project security requirements, candidates holding an EU work visa or non-EU nationality are not eligible.
