Team Lead OHSE & Ergonomie

We are seeking a Team Lead for Occupational Health, Safety, Ergonomics, and Environmental Compliance (OHSEE) to oversee safety, ergonomics, and environmental aspects in complex engineering projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards, managing a team of specialists, and coordinating subcontracted work packages. You will serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and according to contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of OHSEE specialists, including management of subcontracted activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

• Oversee all project deliverables related to ergonomics, environmental protection, and operational safety.

• Organize and chair meetings with client representatives on OHSEE topics, documenting decisions and actions.

• Define and monitor project planning, resources, and budget related to OHSEE activities.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, providing guidance and advice to stakeholders.

• Support supplier assessments and verify adherence to technical specifications.

• Coordinate subcontracted evaluations such as hazard analyses, environmental assessments, and ergonomic reviews.

• Manage non-conformities and facilitate client approvals.

• Supervise verification and validation of OHSEE requirements in collaboration with clients and relevant authorities.

• Advise stakeholders on OHSEE risks and mitigation strategies across multiple project systems.
  

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline, with relevant certifications in safety, ergonomics, or environmental management.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• In-depth understanding of occupational safety, ergonomics, and environmental compliance regulations.

• Experience leading specialist teams in complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

• Knowledge of technical systems, with the ability to interpret and produce technical documentation.

• Experience coordinating with suppliers and ensuring design compliance in large projects.

• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, IBM DOORS, and 3D modelling software.

• Fluency in both English and German, spoken and written.

• Exclusive EU citizenship and possession of an EU passport (candidates with visas, dual nationality, or non-EU status cannot be considered due to project requirements).
