Job description
We are seeking an experienced Interim System Integration Lead to take charge of major naval shipbuilding projects. This role focuses on ensuring the successful integration of systems within the domains of Plans & Arrangements, Outfitting, Interior & Deck, and Structural components. You will be responsible for maintaining high technical standards, guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams, and managing Verification & Validation processes throughout project execution.

Your Responsibilities
In this key position, you will:
Serve as the technical authority for system integration across multiple disciplines.
Lead and coordinate engineering teams and technical experts.
Develop and deliver all required Verification & Validation documentation.
Oversee client documentation processes, including reviews and approvals.
Ensure mechanical systems are fully integrated and meet all specifications and standards.
Manage and prepare test phases, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), HAT (Harbor Acceptance Test), and SAT (Sea Acceptance Test).
Conduct design reviews, resolve escalated technical issues, and ensure design compliance across all work packages.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you should bring the following:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in shipbuilding, offshore, or a similar complex technical environment.
Strong knowledge in Plans & Arrangements, Outfitting, Interiors, Deck systems, and Structural elements.
Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects and cross-functional teams.
A solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving and integration skills.
Fluent command of English; knowledge of German is an asset.
A clean professional record, as security screening is part of the hiring process.
Valid EU citizenship and passport (required due to the sensitive nature of the projects).
