Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Integration Lead – Outfitting & Structural (Interim) to support high-profile naval shipbuilding projects. In this role, you will take the lead in managing Verification & Validation (V&V) activities, ensuring the integration of complex systems across outfitting and structural domains. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of subcontracted work packages, maintaining top-tier quality and meeting strict project deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As System Integration Lead (Interim), you will:

  • Prepare and deliver complete and accurate Verification & Validation documentation.

  • Guide and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical experts.

  • Oversee system integration efforts to ensure alignment with technical specifications.

  • Manage documentation flow and review processes with stakeholders.

  • Organize and lead design reviews; address and escalate compliance issues as necessary.

  • Plan and supervise testing phases, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

  • Participate in FAT, Harbour Acceptance Tests (HAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), ensuring adherence to quality and contractual standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field.

  • At least five years of relevant experience in shipbuilding or similar industries.

  • Strong background in Plans & Arrangements, Outfitting, Interior & Deck, and Structural disciplines.

  • Excellent command of English (German language skills are an advantage).

  • Proven professional track record and strong references; candidates must pass a security clearance as part of the hiring process.

  • Applicants must hold permanent citizenship and a valid passport from an EU country.

  • Due to the classified nature of our projects, individuals with non-EU nationalities, passports, or work visas are not eligible for this role.
