Job description
We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer Marine Systems (Interim) to join our team. This role involves overseeing the seamless integration of marine systems into complex naval vessels, ensuring top-tier performance, quality, and reliability. From design to installation and testing, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to meet all technical, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to project proposals by defining and selecting feasible marine system configurations and components.
Develop functional and technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors based on design, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate supplier quotations in collaboration with the purchasing department.
Ensure compliance with all technical requirements through close cooperation with suppliers, maintaining agreed schedules, quality, and cost targets.
Review supplier engineering documentation, including mechanical drawings, schematics, calculations, and electrical diagrams.
Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration to optimize system integration within vessel designs.
Identify potential improvements in component and system integration and propose solutions.
Draft and support technical documentation, such as system descriptions, installation procedures, and testing protocols (HAT/SAT).
Assess the technical performance of equipment and systems, conducting inspections, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and onboard installations when necessary.
Provide technical support during Sea Trials, HAT, and SAT at the shipyard.
Maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers and technical representatives.
Participate in design reviews and checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Skills & Experience
To excel in this role, you should have:
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field and at least one year of experience.
Strong expertise in marine systems, preferably in shipbuilding, offshore, or related industries.
Experience managing complex projects and collaborating with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and subcontractors.
Deep knowledge of marine systems, industry regulations, and technical standards.
Fluency in both Dutch and English, with strong communication skills.
Excellent references, as a security screening is required.
Permanent EU citizenship and passport, as EU work visas or non-EU nationalities do not meet the security requirements for military projects.
