Senior Engineer Steel Outfitting Outer Decks

As an Engineer Steel Outfitting – Outer Decks, you will play a vital role in outfitting engineering, focusing on outer decks, lifeboat decks, anchor and mooring arrangements, and related calculations. You will work closely with a team of engineers, applying your technical expertise to ensure the functionality, maintainability, and ergonomic design of deck arrangements.

As an Engineer Steel Outfitting – Outer Decks, your main duties will include:

• Performing engineering tasks in both 2D and 3D environments, using software such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia).

• Ensuring that all designs comply with regulatory standards and customer specifications.

• Preparing detailed documentation, including arrangement drawings, component lists, fabrication/mounting drawings, and calculations.

For the Engineer Steel Outfitting – Outer Decks role, Lindemol Engineering is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• A secondary vocational education (MBO-4+) in a relevant outfitting discipline.

• A minimum of two years of experience in engineering outfitting systems.

• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia).

• Knowledge of Classification Society and Statutory regulations, as well as outfitting systems, preferably within the maritime or offshore industry.

• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

• Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
