Manager ILS Proposals

We are seeking a Manager – ILS Proposals to lead and coordinate the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team within the Proposals department. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely preparation and delivery of high-quality proposal packages for large-scale maritime defence programs. You will drive the development and continuous improvement of the proposal process while fostering close cooperation with departments such as Engineering, Research & Development, and Procurement.

Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of tender processes, ensuring compliance with both industry standards and client expectations.

Main Responsibilities

As Manager ILS Proposals, your tasks will include:

• Leading, coaching, and mentoring the ILS proposals team, ensuring strong performance and professional growth.

• Allocating resources, tools, and expertise to strengthen the professionalism of the department.

• Managing the preparation and delivery of high-quality, competitive proposal packages within budget and deadlines.

• Facilitating collaboration across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders during proposal development.

• Providing expert ILS advice and support to tender teams throughout the proposal phase.

• Reviewing and validating ILS content in proposals to guarantee compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

• Identifying opportunities for improving processes, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency.

• Representing the department in discussions with clients and industry partners.

• Ensuring knowledge is captured, shared, and retained effectively within the team.
  

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, combined with at least seven years of relevant experience in ILS and proposal management.

• A strong background in preparing proposals for complex technical projects.

• Proven ability to lead and coordinate high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in English and Dutch (German is considered an advantage).

• Solid references, with security screening forming part of the selection process.

• Exclusive EU citizenship and a valid EU passport (due to the nature of the projects, applicants with dual nationality, non-EU citizenship, or work visas cannot be considered).
