Integration Engineer HVAC Requirements Management

About the Role

As an Integration Engineer specializing in HVAC Requirements Management, you will be responsible for defining and overseeing system requirements for HVAC-R systems, playing a key role in the success of complex engineering projects. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, as well as verification & validation (V&V) and test & integration (T&I) departments. Using IBM Rational DOORS, you will manage requirements within the Systems Engineering V-model, ensuring smooth technical administration and cross-team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary tasks will include:

• Managing and maintaining system requirements using IBM Rational DOORS, ensuring alignment with SMART criteria.

• Accurately structuring HVAC-R system requirements to support engineering, V&V, and T&I processes.

• Handling change requests, ensuring all modifications are correctly implemented within the V-model to maintain consistency across teams.

• Coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and seamless implementation of requirements.

• Analyzing project data to support the requirement definition phase.

• Organizing documentation and optimizing team workflows for efficiency.

Your Profile

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, or a similar technical discipline.

• Strong background in requirements and change management in technical environments.

• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS or similar requirements management tools; knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous.

• Excellent analytical skills, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

• Proficiency in Dutch, German, and English, both written and spoken.

• Strong professional references, as security screening is part of the hiring process.

• EU citizenship and a valid EU passport are required. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or non-EU nationality/passport are not eligible due to the nature of the projects.
