In this position, you act as a key link between engineering activities and the digital tools that support them. You will convert technical and organizational needs into clear functional requirements, ensure smooth operation of the Cadmatic Hull environment, and support users across multiple engineering departments.

Main Tasks

  • Interpret engineering requests and translate them into functional descriptions for further application development.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to investigate issues and determine appropriate resolutions.

  • Design, refine, and implement processes and features within the application landscape.

  • Maintain professional contact with software partners, suppliers, and external experts.

  • Oversee and coordinate data and system interfaces connected to Cadmatic Hull.

  • Handle user administration, ensuring correct access rights and permissions.

  • Configure project environments and initial setups for new assignments within Cadmatic Hull.

  • Manage structured data such as catalogs, libraries, specifications, and other project-related configurations.

  • Support the organization of user training in cooperation with the Engineering Support Manager.

  • Provide day-to-day functional assistance to PLM/CAD users working with Cadmatic Hull.

  • Create and maintain training documentation, user guides, tips, and other application-related materials.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who offers the following:

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree in engineering or demonstrable experience in a related technical field, ideally shipbuilding.

  • Strong familiarity with the Cadmatic software platform.

  • Understanding of PLM concepts; experience in functional application support is considered beneficial.

  • Excellent English communication skills; Dutch language skills are a plus.

  • Ability to work on-site at both Vlissingen and Schiedam locations in the Netherlands.

  • Strong professional references, as security vetting is part of the hiring process.

  • Full and exclusive citizenship of an EU country, with a valid EU passport. Due to project-related restrictions, candidates holding work visas, or dual EU/non-EU citizenship or passports, cannot be considered.
