Senior Engineer Plans and Arrangements (Interim)

As a Interim Senior Engineer Plans & Arrangements, you will play a key role in outfitting engineering, focusing on accommodation and technical spaces (excluding engine rooms). Working alongside a team of outfitting engineers, you will utilize your technical expertise to create functional, ergonomic, and maintainable arrangements.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks will include:

• Producing engineering designs in 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia).

• Ensuring that all designs meet regulatory standards and client requirements.

• Preparing technical documentation, including arrangements, lists, and fabrication/mounting drawings.

• Contributing to the continuous development and optimization of departmental processes.

• Establishing and documenting yard standards to improve efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A secondary vocational education (MBO-4+) in an outfitting-related discipline.

• A minimum of four years of experience in outfitting engineering.

• Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia).

• Familiarity with Class and Statutory regulations, ideally within the maritime or offshore industries.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Strong professional references, as a security screening is part of the selection process.

• Permanent EU citizenship and a valid EU passport are mandatory.

• Applicants holding an EU work visa or dual EU/non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible due to the security requirements of our projects.
