This Is What You'll Do as an Electrical Engineering Engineer

As an Electrical Engineering Engineer, you will design electrical installations for office buildings, schools, factories, and more. You have broad, up-to-date knowledge of electrical engineering and enjoy staying informed about the latest developments in your field.

You will regularly visit ongoing projects where your colleagues are installing the systems you have designed, allowing you to see firsthand how your designs come to life in practice. The feedback you receive on-site from your colleagues will help you refine and improve your future designs. Together, you will continuously seek opportunities for improvement.

Job requirements

What do you bring?

  • Knowledge of electronics and electrical engineering at the higher professional education (HBO) level.

  • Knowledge of engineering.

  • Knowledge of commissioning and all types of installations.

  • Knowledge of the use of materials, tools, and equipment.

  • Knowledge of quality standards, guidelines, and regulations.

  • Understanding of customers' technical processes.

  • Awareness of the latest developments in materials, products, and work processes.

  • Knowledge and experience with automated systems.

  • Social skills to build trust with customers regarding the chosen solution approach.

  • Communication skills for drafting designs, drawings, reports, and improvement proposals, as well as providing instructions, regulations, and information.

  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

  • Ability to understand and act with ownership.

  • VCA-VOL certification.
