As a Change Coordinator Engineering, you play a vital role in managing engineering changes across our naval projects. Acting as the bridge between technical and administrative aspects, you ensure that all changes—whether initiated by customers, partners, subcontractors, suppliers, or classification societies—are effectively coordinated, documented, and implemented. Your role is essential in maintaining an organized and structured approach to change management, ensuring traceability and efficiency throughout the entire process.

In this role, your main tasks will include:

  • Supporting and proposing engineering change identification and initiation.

  • Managing the end-to-end processing of requirements, documents, and configuration changes.

  • Ensuring correct assignment of change management levels and execution of impact analyses.

  • Monitoring progress and following up on open changes with responsible action holders.

  • Coordinating changes that impact multiple engineering teams.

  • Initiating, implementing, and communicating change execution plans.

  • Ensuring the traceability of approved changes into the product configuration.

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of department processes and knowledge transfer.

  • Complying with HSSEQ / IMED policies and procedures.

To excel as a Change Coordinator Engineering, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (EQF6) in a technical field with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree (EQF7) with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

  • Experience with naval engineering concepts and practices (a background in naval architecture is desirable).

  • Knowledge of configuration management and change control processes.

  • Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems.

  • A strong understanding of engineering processes and interfaces between disciplines.

  • Strong administrative skills within a complex technical environment.

  • Excellent influencing skills to ensure collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

  • A detail-oriented and proactive mindset.

  • Fluency in English and Dutch.

  • Excellent references, as pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment process.
