Cad Engineer Residential Construction

As a CAD Engineer – Residential Construction, you will be responsible for creating and developing detailed technical drawings and plans for residential building projects. You will work closely with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure that designs meet both client requirements and regulatory standards. Your expertise in CAD software will be crucial in translating design concepts into accurate and feasible construction drawings.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings for residential construction projects using CAD software.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine designs and ensure feasibility.

• Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

• Prepare technical documentation, including construction drawings, blueprints, and material specifications.

• Assist in the development of design concepts and propose innovative solutions to optimize construction efficiency.

• Conduct site visits when necessary to verify design implementation and gather data for revisions.

• Maintain and update project documentation to reflect changes and improvements.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a CAD Engineer, preferably in residential construction.

• Proficiency in CAD software such as Revit, or similar tools.

• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate technical concepts effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
