Functional Application Specialist 3DX – Fluids (Piping, HVAC, and Mechanical)

We’re looking for a Functional Application Specialist 3DX – Fluids (Piping, HVAC, and Mechanical) to enhance our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, specifically the 3Dexperience (3DX) platform. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and refining engineering functionalities, ensuring greater efficiency and effectiveness across projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Functional Application Specialist 3DX – Fluids, your role will involve:

• Translating engineering business processes into functional specifications for applications.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.

• Designing and implementing streamlined application processes.

• Managing application interfaces and user access rights.

• Maintaining catalogues, libraries, specifications, and project-related data.

• Organizing and delivering training sessions for engineering teams in coordination with the Manager of Engineering Support.

• Providing functional support to PLM/CAD users.

• Developing training materials, user manuals, and technical documentation for 3DX.

• (Potentially) Supporting Cadmatic (Outfitting) applications within our legacy tooling platform.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate for this role brings:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, preferably in Piping, HVAC, or Mechanical fields.

• Hands-on expertise with the Dassault 3Dexperience (3DX) platform; knowledge of Cadmatic (Outfitting) is a plus.

• A strong understanding of PLM principles and functional application management.

• Fluency in English; Dutch proficiency is an advantage.

• The ability to work on-site in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.

• Excellent references, as security screening is a mandatory part of the hiring process.

• Permanent EU citizenship and passport (EU work visas or dual EU/non-EU nationality do not meet project security requirements).
