Test & Integratie Engineer

As a Test & Integration Engineer, you will be part of the Test & Integration team within a designated project, reporting to the Integration & Test Manager. Your primary responsibility is managing a specific section of the test and integration program, ensuring smooth production inspections, testing, and trials for newly built naval vessels. You will conduct engineering reviews, provide project support during production phases, and coordinate follow-ups on deviations in collaboration with key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Test & Integration program, aligning with project design, timelines, and overall targets.

• Prepare and oversee production inspection plans, ensuring compliance with the master project plan, specifications, and deadlines.

• Create, execute, and coordinate testing and trial plans, including Type Tests, FATs, HATs, and SATs.

• Collaborate in cross-functional engineering reviews involving multiple disciplines and key suppliers to ensure seamless integration.

• Monitor project progress, track third-party performance, and intervene when necessary to maintain project efficiency.

• Deliver comprehensive status reports throughout production, testing, and trial phases.

• Work closely with engineering teams to define and refine Testing & Integration strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• A relevant technical bachelor's degree (HBO) with experience in project management, manufacturing, and commissioning of complex new-build naval vessels.

• Strong background in subcontract management and the integration of complex mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, including propulsion systems for advanced vessels.

• Expertise in various engineering methodologies and best practices.

• Proficiency in Dutch, German, and English (both written and verbal).

• Excellent references, as security clearance is required as part of the hiring process.

• EU citizenship and passport are mandatory. Candidates holding an EU work visa or dual EU/non-EU nationality are not eligible due to the military nature of the projects.
