Standardization Engineer

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a drive to improve engineering processes through standardization? Are you excited by the idea of working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment on cutting-edge naval projects? We're looking for a Standardization Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in enhancing efficiency, minimizing risk, and reducing costs by implementing smart standardization practices.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and manage 2D technical drawings of standardized parts and systems.

• Guarantee that all standards comply with manufacturing capabilities, technical specs, ergonomic design, weight requirements, and safety regulations.

• Keep standardization data accurate and up-to-date in the Product Data Management (PDM) system.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams across multiple locations.

• Engage in technical discussions with suppliers and classification bodies to align with industry regulations and requirements.

Who You Are

• You hold an MBO-4 level degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field.

• You have at least 3 years of hands-on engineering experience.

• You work precisely and efficiently, and you enjoy collaborating within a team.

• You are experienced with CAD software (MicroStation is a plus).

• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, written and verbal.

• You have strong references and are willing to undergo a security screening.

Additional Requirements

• You must have permanent EU citizenship and a valid EU passport.

• Due to the defense-related nature of the projects, individuals with (also) a non-EU nationality or visa status are not eligible for this role.
