Job description

As a Process Manager for the F126 Frigate Project, you play a pivotal role in shaping and managing process flows to ensure objectives are met in line with contractual agreements. You act as a guide, process owner, and advocate, fostering engagement, motivation, and collaboration within the organization. Your responsibilities include managing alliances, setting necessary conditions, and overseeing the seamless execution of processes. Additionally, you coordinate cross-functional tasks within the project organization, ensuring efficient and value-driven outcomes. You will lead process improvement initiatives and serve as the primary point of contact for process-related matters across teams and stakeholders, including the project board.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a strategic approach for process execution and optimization.

  • Ensure the effective execution of core processes within the F126 project.

  • Serve as the key liaison for project leaders and teams regarding process-related aspects.

  • Facilitate external coordination with clients and subcontractors.

  • Align and standardize processes across sub-projects to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Drive progress in process deliverables within team operations and in collaboration with sub-projects.

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive process management plans in compliance with project requirements.

  • Work closely with both the project team and functional line organization to drive improvements.

  • Analyze workflows, identify areas for enhancement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in shipbuilding or a related technical industry.

  • Strong expertise in Business Process Management and its industry standards.

  • Experience with systems engineering in complex project environments.

  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding teams within a process-driven, technology-oriented project setting.

  • A Master’s degree in Business Process Management or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field; additional process management qualifications are advantageous.

  • Strong professional references, as security screening is part of the selection process.

  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required. Candidates holding an EU (work) visa or dual EU and non-EU nationality are not eligible due to security requirements associated with military-related projects.
