Job description
As a CAD/PLM Software Developer, you will be responsible for extending and improving scripts and applications within the 3DEXPERIENCE environment. Your work ensures that the platform continues to meet the organization’s evolving requirements. You will analyze business needs, design technical solutions, and provide advice for ongoing optimization. Collaboration with internal specialists and external partners is an important aspect of this role.

Main Responsibilities
In this position, you will be involved in:
Designing and implementing rules and actions for data creation, modification, and retrieval.
Managing server configurations within 3DEXPERIENCE to guarantee smooth user operations and error-free performance.
Setting up and verifying quality checks for data, as well as preparing reports and templates.
Developing functional enhancements to support reporting and analysis.
Working with key users and application specialists to identify and implement automation options using EKL.
Translating functional specifications into technical solutions in cooperation with architects and managers.
Independently programming, testing, and debugging software while working closely with testers.
Documenting solutions in use cases and presenting them to stakeholders.
Filling in missing functionality by applying CAA/C++ or submitting enhancement requests when required.
Guiding colleagues, identifying system issues, and creating service requests for fixes and improvements.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a professional who brings:
A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience.
Background in software development, preferably including EKL and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (CATIA experience is a plus).
Familiarity with IT and information management processes, particularly in 3D design, PDM systems, and engineering tools.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python), databases, and version control systems such as Git.
Ability to both improve existing code and develop new solutions from scratch.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Dutch or German is an advantage.
Positive references; a security screening is part of the hiring process.
