Job description
As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced automation systems for high-tech naval vessels. Your work ensures that these systems operate seamlessly, adhering to strict regulatory standards and technical requirements. You will be responsible for developing automation concepts for complex onboard processes, integrating a wide range of systems. Depending on the vessel’s configuration, this may include critical defensive and deterrence mechanisms.
Your designs will feature state-of-the-art automation functionality, enabling the crew to efficiently control and monitor all onboard systems. Throughout the entire project lifecycle—from initial concept through to final commissioning—you will work within a 3DExperience engineering environment, following the V-model. Your contributions will be thoroughly reviewed, tested, and validated during both the design and construction phases, leading to the successful deployment of a fully operational naval vessel.
